Rybrook Warwick Win Aftersales Operation of the Year at AM Awards

Having taken over the Warwick BMW dealership in September 2008 the business looked to dramatically increase absorption figures to help safeguard the company.

A focus on the right staff for the job kick-started a drive to achieve 100% absorption while improving customer satisfaction.
Rybrook had to make some changes within its aftersales department after identifying the members of staff that fitted in with its new objectives.

The business set to work on its antiquated database of more than 40,000 records of which half were inaccurate. Once this had been cleansed Rybrook began to contact its customers informing them of its reputation for delivering ultimate customer satisfaction.

Customer satisfaction scores are displayed daily throughout the aftersales department. These have continued to improve from 83.15% in 2008 to 85.22% in 2010.

Absorption growth was up from 2008 to 2010 by 63%, total aftersales growth 14.1% for the team led by aftersales manager Simon Birchall.
This business rose above other competitors in the category with a near faultless audit, scoring close to 100% in all areas including planning, financial performance, people management, departmental performance, customer satisfaction and operational processes.

Following Rybrook’s Charity Ball in aid of Amy Broster’s Kilimanjaro climb for Breast Cancer Campaign Amy and her friends have completed their epic climb. Despite tough conditions and with a year of training the views look spectacular and they have raised over £25,000 so far for the charity.
